Challenge

Swimwear brand Solid & Striped wanted to target niche terms more aggressively to outperform their competitors on SERPs.

‍They aimed to do better than their competition on search engine for specific, specialized words.

‍When it came to high-value search terms like “bikini” and “bikini bottoms,” the brand was stuck on pages 6 and 8 of the SERPs, respectively.

‍Our mission was to get them to the first page to drive more organic straffic to their site.

Strategy

First, GR0 identified competitive high volume keywords that were great opportunities to rank better.  We were certain our link acquisition process could get S&S to rank on page 1 of SERPs.

‍With non-branded links, we built authority for Solid and Striped’s  target pages. Total keywords for our target page have increased by nearly 60% and keywords ranking on page one of SERPs is up 720% +.

‍Our most impressive wins were for the term “Bikini,” which went from position 55 to 1, and “Bikini Bottoms” which we moved from page 8 to page 1.
