The Challenge

Pepper Home came to us with almost no non-branded exposure. ‍The majority of the clicks and impressions they were getting were branded variations, so almost none of their leads were coming from organic search. ‍They were ranking on Page 2 of the search results for their top term “Custom Curtains,” something we were committed to fixing.

The Strategy

First, we identified what areas of the site were not aligned with the keywords their target audience was using to search for custom curtain products.‍We optimized the metadata on over 100 core pages to help us get non-branded exposure and allow us to help Google understand more about their product offerings.‍Our focus has been on on page optimization along with external link creation for the term “Custom Curtains”. ‍With our custom link strategy, we were able improve their ranking from position #14 to #2 in the SERPs!

As a result of the on page optimization mades, we are seeing 4X the “Page 1” rankings YoY and 2.7X the total keyword rankings.

Increasing their keyword rankings allowed us to get more visibility into the search results and drive more traffic to the website.
