We wouldn't want to hire an agency to do our SEO, unless they demonstrated they built and scaled up a website of their own. After all, there is no real "playbook" on SEO, you learn by trial and error.

We launched a website called The Word Counter. It’s a grammar website filled with exceptional pieces of content.
The link building we did was 70% HARO, 20% press releases and 10% organic guest posts. For those advanced readers, go to ahrefs, check the referring domains list and click through, you’ll see. 70% nofollow link profile, too.
